Starting a Business Was Never on my 'to-do' list
So, these facts may seem strange:
Add to that the fact that I'm a fun-loving optimist dedicated to helping Solopreneurs, Side-Hustlers and Freelancers get the business they want.
But those basic facts don't really tell the full story.
I started out as a Side-Hustler. Running a 5pm to 9pm business on the side of a 9am to 5pm job.
In my early days I knew absolutely nothing about business. The outcome? I fell very easily into the 'magic beans' trap; putting all my efforts into the one or two areas of business that the 'experts' told me would bring me success.
What did this mean?
Most of the basic building-blocks of a truly successful business were misunderstood, ignored or pushed to one side
The outcome?
A lot of hard work, no progress and the idea of transitioning from employee to full-time entrepreneur was not much more than a dream.

I pride myself on my honest, plain-speaking approach, because it helps with focus, and getting the right things done. But it’s not all about business practicalities.
